The Bulgarian embassy in the United States has warned of possible unrest after the presidential election, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry announced.

The embassy's Facebook page reads: "The evening after the US presidential election on November 3, as in the next few days, there is a likelihood of protest action and public order violation in larger cities. In this regard, we recommend avoiding places where there are gatherings of large groups of people or prior information about possible incidents. When encountering such a situation, the instructions of local authorities and police should be strictly respected. If necessary, you can contact the embassy on tel.: (202) 387-5770."
