Parliament approved, at first reading, the budgets of the state social security and of the National Health Insurance Fund.

During the debates, Movement for Rights and Freedoms MP Dr. Hassan Ademov warned that raising minimum pensions as of 1 January, 2021 will mean a burden on the budget of 45 million euro. With regard to health insurance, the MPs demanded an increase in funding for the treatment of Covid-19.  The motive is that treating a coronavirus patient costs 1,000 - 1,500 euro, whereas the National Health Insurance Fund only covers the sum of 600 euro.
