Competitors turn down participation in tennis tournament in Sofia

Four competitors have turned down participation in the ATP 250 tennis tournament which opens in Arena Armeec Hall in Sofia tomorrow.

They are 24thseed Borna Ćorić, as well as Ugo Humbert, France, champion from the European Open – Antwerp, and 32nd in the world rankings. The other two players who will not be taking part are Jordan Thompson, Australia, 61st in the ATP rankings and the veteran from Spain Feliciano Lopez (64th) who failed to confirm their participation last night.

Other players who will probably be replaced are Stefano Travaglia (74) and Salvatore Caruso (81) – Italy, as well as Laslo Djere, Serbia (54) and Vasek Pospisil, Canada (73).
