9,200 lose job since beginning of November

In September and October 564 employers presented more than 4,000 available jobs at labour exchanges, National Employment Agency data show.

According to the National Statistical Institute (NSI), the number of newly registered unemployed during the first week of November stood at 9,200.  The specialized lalbour market report, which the NSI compiles because of Covid-19, shows that 4,500 people have found a job with the help of employment offices. Since 3 February when the monitoring began, a total of almost 329,000 people have registered as unemployed, and 212,000 have found jobs.
