The clinical pathway for Covid-19 is not sufficiently funded, Dr. Hristo Mazneykov, manager of the private hospital "St. Sofia", has told BNR. According to him, a patient costs about 700 euros, while allocated funds per patient are about 600 EUR.

The doctor was the first to voice the idea of establishing separate Covid hospitals. "Instead of putting 20 beds in 20 hospitals, we should concentrate the patients in one hospital for 400 patients. The necessary equipment will be collected there, the whole resource," he said. According to Dr. Hristo Mazneykov, no more serious measures were needed against the coronavirus, as well as no lockdown.
