A probe was launched at the St. George University Hospital in Plovdiv after a video was released showing two patients who died after waiting to be admitted for around 40 minutes in front of the entrance of the new Covid ward of the hospital, BNR’s Kremena Daneva reports.
According to the video the patients who had to wait on the steps of the hospital ward were in critical condition and died of coronavirus complications.
Representatives of the hospital explained that this was due to unfortunate coincidence and shortage of medical staff.
