Most Bulgarians rely on the intervention of European institutions in the country's internal problems, according to a study by the Sova Harris agency in November.

60% of the respondents share the main conclusion in the resolution of the European Parliament that democracy in Bulgaria is deteriorating. For 74% of voters, systemic problems in the judiciary persist and there is a lack of transparency in EU spending.

71 percent believe that the changes in the election legislation are being made too close to the upcoming elections. 72% note a growing influence of power in the public media and the spread of clientelism in the private media outlets.
