"Let's leave history to historians. It unites us and through it we can build bridges of cooperation", North Macedonia's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev told the Deutsche Welle. "We have a wonderful agreement for which I have high hopes", Zaev said.
Zaev sees an opportunity for a decision in a protocol or memorandum to the Agreement with Bulgaria, with which "to confirm the expectations of the Bulgarian people." "I can promise that we will make a road map for faster work on Corridor No. 8", adds Zaev.
We are disappointed that Bulgaria did not support us in starting accesstion negotiations with the EU, but I hope for progress in December, said North Macedonia's Defense Minister Radmila Sekerinska at a video conference of the Halifax International Security Forum.
