We have not alllowed Bulgaria to top the world ranking in terms of Covid-19 mortality. We have been encouraging people to observe the anti-epidemic measures from the very beginning of the pandemic. The high mortality is due to non-compliance with health measures and the fact that some people underestimated the virus and burned masks in front of the Council of Ministers building.
