In October Bulgaria welcomed most foreign guests from Serbia, Turkey and Greece

In October 2020, a slight increase in the trips of Bulgarian citizens abroad was registered. They are 493.1 thousand, or 4.2% more than the registered trips in the same month of 2019. At the same time, the trend of a very strong decline in visits of foreigners to Bulgaria compared to a year earlier continues at the backdrop of epidemic situation. Visits of foreigners in October were only 419.1 thousand, or 45.3% less in comparison to October 2019. This is shown by data from the National Statistical Institute.

Among the foreigners who visited this country for vacation and excursion, most were guests from Serbia - 18991, followed by those from Turkey - 16332, and Greece - 13594.
