Second group of volunteers to help medics at Bulgaria’s military hospitals

A second group of 40 servicemen from different military formations of the Bulgarian Armed Forces will join the battle against Covid-19 on November 30. They will help the medics working at hospitals within the Military Medical Academy.

The teams will rotate every two weeks. The servicemen have been assigned with the task to make disinfection, measure body temperature and participate in support activities at the Virology laboratory, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defense announced. The volunteers are distributed in the Military Medical Academy in Sofia, as well as in the military hospitals in Varna, Plovdiv, Pleven and Sliven. Some of them have acquired special skills in courses for combat medical assistants, BTA reports.
