December 3 observed as International Day of Persons with Disabilities

On December 3 we mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. It has been promoted by the United Nations since 1992. The observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities aims to promote understanding of the disability issues and mobilize support for the rights and the well-being of the persons with disabilities.

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the sunny smiles of 10 children with disabilities from the “Different" children of Bulgaria photo project shone on 10 metro stations in Sofia, stolica.bg informs.

“All children smile in the same language! See their eyes and get acquainted with their dreams!”, the author of the project Anna Yoncheva wrote on the social networks. The photos can be seen until December 14.
