Citizens protesting against the government have placed a Christmas tree in front of the Council of Ministers and called on those gathered to leave Christmas cards with their wishes for the resignation of the cabinet and the chief prosecutor, BNR reporter Dobromir Videv reported. Citizens dissatisfied with Boyko Borissov's rule decorated the Christmas tree with messages reading "Mafia out", fake 500-euro banknotes and gold bars, and more. A man dressed as Santa Claus wished health to all Bulgarians struggling to survive the crisis.

The chaos in the healthcare and social system, as well as the lack of order across the country, cannot be tolerated any more, the protesters stated.
