Optimism among Bulgarians is on the rise

Optimists about Bulgaria's future are more than pessimists as the ratio is 43% to 40%, sociologist Lydia Yordanova, head of the Exacta Research Group, told BNR's Horizon program. Pessimists have fallen by 5% in the last three years. Asked about their personal future in 2021, 50 % of Bulgarians are optimists and 29% are pessimists.

The Exacta poll outlines four political forces that will certainly enter the next Bulgarian parliament - GERB, BSP, Ima takav narod ("There is such a nation") and the MRF. The political parties Democratic Bulgaria and United Patriots also have chances of crossing the 4% threshold, Yordanova added.
