World Bank forecasts growth of 3.3% for Bulgarian economy in 2021

The World Bank has lowered its forecast for the growth of the Bulgarian economy for the current year to 3.3% compared to 4.3% in its June report. In 2022, the institution expects Bulgaria’s growth to accelerate to a level of 3.7%.

At the same time, the bank forecasts a weaker contraction of Bulgaria's GDP for past year - by 5.1%, compared to the initially projected 6.2%. This was announced today by the bank, quoted by Reuters.
