Percentage of positive Covid-19 tests returning positive continues downward trend

753 is the number of newly registered Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria out of 9,871 tests performed over the past 24 hours, or 7.6%, according to data of the Single Coronavirus Information Portal.

37 of the new cases are among medical staff. 4,186 Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospital, of them 380 in intensive care. 3,831 have recovered, and 61 have died. The number of new coronavirus infections is highest in Sofia - 161, Varna 58 and Vratsa - 45.

Another 2,238 people have been vaccinated over the past 24 hours, bringing the number of inoculations to date up to 13,355.
