There are no foreign citizens onboard the passenger airplane which went off radar on a flight from Jakarta to Pontianak, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has announced. Bulgaria’s ambassador to Indonesia Petar Andonov has contacted the Foreign Ministry of Indonesia which confirmed the information.
According to local authorities there were 56 passengers, including 10 children onboard the Boeing 737-500 which went off radar at an altitude of around 3,300 metres over the Java Sea. there is no official information as yet whether the airplane has crashed.
