This year's winner of the Aleko Literary Competition for a humorous short story is Serbian psychiatrist, aphorist and writer Slobodan Simic. He was awarded for his feuilleton entitled "Theory of Relativity", BNR's Horizon channel reported.
This year's edition of the Aleko Konstantinov International Competition received 78 short stories by 42 writers from 14 countries, including Bulgaria, Serbia, France, the United States, Russia, Switzerland, Portugal, Macedonia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Turkey, Canada and Hungary, BTA reported.
