The chairman of the national referee college of the Bulgarian Handball Federation Mikhail Bashev is a delegate of the International Handball Federation at the 27th World Men's Handball Championship in Egypt, January 13-31, BTA reports.

Bashev has already been a delegate at three world junior championships – in Algeria, Spain and in Poland.

In 2019 in Spain, at the match for the gold between France and Croatia, he was one of the three representatives of the international federation. That same year Mikhail Bashev was also a delegate at the World Women’s Championship in Japan.

At the IHF championship in Egypt, Mikhail Bashev is one of 19 delegates after scoring excellent marks during an online seminar and test. Bashev will be a delegate in Alexandria where the matches from the preliminary groups C and H will be played.

32 teams will be vying for the medals, 16 of them from Europe.
