Digital nomads opt for the atmosphere of Pamporovo

The annual laptop camps in Pamporovo and Chepelare offer excellent conditions in which people who work remotely are able to combine work with their favourite winter pastimes. This season the camps are open to individual tourists and families who have chosen to social distance in Pamporovo while continuing to do their jobs.

Leisure-time activities include ski trekking in the mountain and visits to the ski runs of Pamporovo at dawn. Enthusiasts use special ski bindings so as to be able to get to the upper reaches of the Rhodopes, Snezhanka peak or Orfeevi rocks. By using them, skiers are not dependent on ski tows and are able to follow the winter tourist trails. Skiing back downhill is only along the ski runs so as to avoid any risk.

The people who go to laptop camps are mostly computer and media experts, managers or freelancers. In observance of the anti-epidemic distancing measures, this year they are mostly individual tourists or families who go to Pamporovo on a ski-office vacation. Some come in their campers, as a camper zone has now been provided.
