Owners of shops closed due to anti-epidemic measures call for immediate reopening, even at the cost of fewer working days and limited working hours. This was stated by the Bulgarian Retail Association in a letter to Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev and the Ministers of Finance and Economy, BNR reporter Natalia Ganchovska said. Shops located in malls have been the most affected by anti-epidemic measures.

“State support under SME support programs, ‘Keep me’ or 10% of the reduced turnover, are either extremely untimely to save some, or extremely insufficient to help others, or do not reach those in need at all," the association say.
