Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia have finalized the procedures on a bilateral aviation agreement. The ministers of transport of the two countries will soon sign the agreement. This was announced during the working visit of Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Tourism Mariana Nikolova to Saudi Arabia.

The direct flight between Bulgaria and Saudi Arabia will facilitate relations between the two countries and will allow for the launch of charter programs, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Tourism announced.

" Bulgaria is a "gateway to Europe" for the Middle East countries, because of its geographic position. It provides access to the market of Southeastern Europe which has over 150 million consumers, as well as access to the EU single market, consisting of nearly 500 million consumers," Mariana Nikolova told Abdulhadi Almansouri, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) - Saudi Arabia.
