Two sides are needed for successful dialogue between Bulgaria and North Macedonia

We will either have an honest dialogue with North Macedonia, or we can keep having a dialogue for the next 28 years, as they did with Greece, Deputy Prime Minister Krassimir Karakachanov said in Karlovo.

In Skopje, they mistakenly believe that things will change in a few months, that the EU presidency will change and Slovenia will take the lead. The other thing they rely on is that the political configuration in Bulgaria would change, that there would be a new administration in the United States and perhaps someone from the United States or Europe would put pressure on the Bulgarian government. I think they are entering an illusion once again, Minister Karakachanov pointed out.

The Bulgarian Minister of Defense added that useful moves towards dialogue always existed, but two were needed for that to happen.
