Today is the deadline for Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova to inform the Council of Ministers about the actions taken, as well as about the results of negotiations for the construction of a new nuclear facility at site 2 of Kozloduy NPP.

Last week, the Bulgarian government decided to use the equipment ordered for the Belene NPP project for building seventh unit of the Kozloduy power plant. However, the cabinet did not terminate the procedure for selecting an investor for the Belene NPP. According to the Ministry of Energy, this can be done only by the National Assembly, as it has opened the procedure.
