The civil platform "Stand Up.BG" and the "Poisonous Trio" - organizers of the civic protests, lasting for more than 200 days, have submitted documents to the Central Election Commission for participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The two formations would participate as a coalition "Stand Up! Mugs, Out!" if the CEC approved the submitted documents.

The coalition joins the elections with the registration of three parties - Bulgaria of the Citizens Movement, Movement 21 and the United People's Party. To participate in the elections, registration of a political party is required, while "Stand Up.BG" and "The Poisonous Trio" are not registered as parties.

The leader of "Stand Up.BG" Maya Manolova announced that their main goal was to dismantle the current model of governing.
