In recent days in Bulgaria there has been an increase in the new cases of Covid-19. A peak is expected around February 25. This was announced in an interview for BNT with the director of Sofia-based Aleksandrovska Hospital, Prof. Boris Bogov. Tomorrow's meeting of the National Operational Headquarters will decide whether to change the anti-epidemic measures if the Covid-19 incidence increases to 200 infections per 100,000 people. According to him, all hospitals are ready to respond to an increase in the number of infected people.
The most common complications of Covid-19 patients are related to the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Many patients also need neurological and psychological help, Prof. Bogov said.
