Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev has opened the 14th National Archaeological Exhibition "Bulgarian Archeology 2020" put on display at the National Archaeological Museum. The exposition presents the most interesting finds from the field work of Bulgarian archaeologists in the past year, BTA reported.
Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture funded more than 100 regular archaeological excavations in 2020.
The exhibition is organized with the participation of 16 other regional museums. Finds from 27 sites are presented, illustrating the development of all civilizations that inhabited today's Bulgarian lands from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages.
The unique items will be on display for visitors from February 12 to May 2, 2021.
