Bulgaria’s Police has detained a 35-year-old man in connection with the murder of a British woman who resided in the village of Novo Selo, Veliko Tarnovo district, BNR’s correspondent Zdravka Maslyankova reported.

A Police officer and the village mayor visited the victim’s house, as the local postwoman was unable to find the 60-year-old settler. They found her body in the barn. The detainee confessed that the crime was motivated by jealousy, said the Mayor of Novo Selo Hristo Hristov.
