Seven political formations would enter parliament if the elections were to be held today, for two of them the campaign will be crucial, indicates a survey conducted by Gallup International Balkan’s independent polling programme the results of which were published today. There are others who are hoping to come close to or even pass the threshold (particularly if it is low due to an expected low voter turnout) or are out to obtain a subsidy.

According to the survey, 25.8% of the people who say they have decided to vote are going to cast their vote for the coalition GERB-Union of Democratic Forces, 21.9% for the Bulgarian Socialist Party, 13.1% for “There are such people”,  12.4% for the Movement for Rights and Freedoms,  6.8%  for Democratic Bulgaria, 4.7% for the formation “Stand Up! Thugs Out!”and 4.2% for VMRO.

The government is nearing the end of its term of office with a level of trust of 19%, and 69% distrust. Trust in parliament stands at 14%, distrust – at 73% , indicates a survey conducted by Gallup International Balkan’s independent polling programme the results of which were published today.
