The Bulgarian Gendarmerie is guarding the voting machines. The devices are protected against unauthorized access, Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier Mariana Nikolova, tasked with coordinating the activities related to the organizational and the technical preparation of the forthcoming Parliamentary elections, said in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio.
The voting machines are stored in a customs warehouse under a special procedure set by the state, stressed Deputy Premier Nikolova.
