PM Borissov supports closer cooperation between EU and NATO

“The implementation of the strategic security programme during the 2019-2024 period continues to be a staunch commitment of the EU leaders,” said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov during a video conference of the EU leaders. The focus on the second day of the forum is security, defence and EU-NATO relations.

“We believe and we hope that, with the new American administration, we shall continue to work even better in the context of Euro-Atlantic relations and that we shall enhance our cooperation,” Boyko Borissov stated, and expressed enormous expectations regarding the forthcoming NATO summit, BTA reports.
