Invest Bulgaria Agency confers annual “Investor of the Year” awards

Invest Bulgaria Agency has confered the annual “Investor of the Year” awards for the 15th time. For the first time in the history of the contest the award ceremony took place entirely online, Bulgaria's Ministry of Economy has announced. The contest aims to award the most significant investment projects in Bulgaria in 2020. “Nestle Bulgaria” won the 2020 Investor of the Year award. The company operates on the Bulgarian market since 1994. Its produce is exported to more than 35 markets. The industrial group Sisecam won an award in the category “Sustainable development of investments”. It started business in Bulgaria in 1997 and has a flat glass factory, a factory for kitchen glassware and an automotive glass factory. Its total investments in Bulgaria reached USD 800 million.

The Association “Children with Onco-Hematological Diseases” was awarded a crystal plaquette for a “Successful Start-up”. It is the only parenting organization in Bulgaria for children with onco-hematological diseases which offers complex care- psychological support for both children and parents, art therapy, pedagogical session and consultation.
