The Gallery on 6 Shipka Street in Sofia presents seven curator projects in contemporary Bulgarian painting named 7x5x3. The curator exhibitions present five artists each. Each artist shows three works regarded as a sample of the multi-faced panorama of the actual artistic scene. For instance, Stanislava Nikolova participates through artistic reflections of five artists. Her project bridges past and present, modern and neo-modern. Lyuben Domozetski accentuates on the active presence and of images in contemporary painting. Another curator – Rumena Kalcheva asks whether it is possible to talk about Bulgarian surrealism in Bulgarian painting and what are its new manifestations. The large-scale project 7x5x3 is fulfilled with the support of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture and will be open for visitor until April 10.
