Stenata ski run on Mount Vitosha reopens to tourists

After a pause of more than 10 years Stenata ski run on Mount Vitosha is reopening to tourists.

Conditions for winter sports here are excellent and we invite people to come and visit it, said Minister of Tourism Mariyana Nikolova, adding that the mountain is an excellent choice in the pandemic, and that Mount Vitosha is close to Sofia.

The chair lifts and all other facilities are functioning in strict compliance with the anti-epidemic measures. Interest in Vitosha’s ski runs is running high because there is a natural snow cover of over 1.5 metres, BGNES reports.
