Certification of voting machines completed

The certification of the voting machines which will be used in the April 4 parliamentary elections in Bulgaria has been completed on time, the E-Government Agency announced. Three state institutions - the state agency "Electronic Government", the Institute of Metrology and the Institute of Standardization have certified the compliance of the delivered technical devices for voting with the requirements of the Electoral Code and the public procurement.
Observers from the Public Council of the Central Election Commission and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe attended some of the tests of the voting machines, BNR reports.
