An annex to the agreement with the National Health Insurance Fund has been signed by force of which the Covid-19 vaccination certificate is free of charge.

“It also solves the problem of the recognition of hospital treatment after a positive antigen test and pronounced clinical symptoms,” said Dr. Ivan Madzharov, President of the Bulgarian Medical Association for bTV.

“The state has the obligation of ensuring that all activities connected with the vaccination of the population are free of charge. Some medical establishments, some GPs hadn’t realized that and were charging the public for the certificate. Everything that has to do with the immunization is free of charge, we signed the annex which is to be published in the State Gazette today,” Dr. Madzharov added.
