BSP for Bulgaria refused to comment on results of exit polls conducted by sociological agencies, BNR reporter Daniel Inkov has informed. According to Gallup, "There Are Such People" party unexpectedly emerged as the second political force ahead of the BSP.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party announced that they would conduct a parallel counting.

The BSP for Bulgaria leadership had said it was competing for the place of first political force in the 45th parliament, but if initial exit poll data were confirmed, it could take the third place.

New elections are likely to take place due to political leaders' "aspirations for power," VMRO leader Krassimir Karakachanov has told BNR correspondent in Pleven, Latinka Svetozarova. "Unfortunately, we may enter a situation, in which it would be difficult to form a government and then we would move on to new elections," Karakachanov said.

Slavi Trifonov, leader of the party "There Are Such People", which unexpectedly came second in the exit polls, wrote on his Facebook page that he had Covid-19 symptoms and had isolated himself. He pointed out the importance of the result of today's elections. According to him, voters were the true winners. "You asked for the power and change is inevitable," Trifonov wrote.

A fourth cabinet of Boyko Borissov is now impossible, Maya Manolova, leader of the formation "Stand up! Thugs out!" has told BNR. According to Manolova, the political forces of the protest were the big winners of the parliamentary vote.

About 20-30 people protested in front of the GERB headquarters, BNR reporter Violeta Ashikova informed. The protesters, led by mothers of children with disabilities, united by the civil initiative "The System is Killing us", chanted "Down with GERB".

"There is no need for the GERB-SDS coalition to recall that it has won the elections for the 14^th time in a row," Lyuben Dilov of the coalition said. "Bulgarians who went to the polls despite Covid-19 are the biggest winners," Dilov also said and added that early parliamentary elections would be very costly for Bulgaria.

"I offer you peace. Let's put the experts at the front and take responsibility in order to come out of the pandemic by December and go forward," GERB leader Borissov said.

"You have no expertise, people. You have to learn and we have huge potential. And instead of talking about who the greater one is, let's think about ways to be more consolidated, because the world is watching us," Boyko Borissov said on his Facebook page in his first comment after the elections. "Do you have anyone who has dealt with 3 crises - the financial-economic crisis, the migration crisis, and the pandemic?” Borissov asked.

People have voted for change. This was what chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Mustafa Karadayi, said at a press conference.

Speaking to the Bulgarian National Radio, Hasan Azis, mayor of Kardzhali and part of the MRF leadership, expressed hope that the Movement for Rights and Freedoms would be a factor in making important decisions for this country. He called for the final results of the parliamentary vote to be seen before conclusions are drawn. "We have always called for a dialogue between the parties and for marking the important strategic goals of the country for decades to come on the basis of this dialogue," Azis added.
