Prime Minister of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev expressed hope that the new Bulgarian government would be formed in April, in order for talks between the countries to continue, BGNES reported. Speaking at a press conference, in response to a question whether he expected the veto on North Macedonia's EU membership talks to be lifted, he pointed out that he was sure a solution would be found.

However, the prime minister reiterated that the identity of people in North Macedonia and their language have not been and cannot be a subject of negotiations. "It is important what kind of history we write today, it is important what we will leave to the youth and to the future generations," Zoran Zaev said.
