Ekaterina Zaharieva participates in meeting of Foreign Affairs Council

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva participates today in an informal video-conference meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. Among the main topics of discussion are the conflict in eastern Ukraine and the massive concentration of Russian military forces and equipment along the borders of Ukraine and the Crimean peninsula. A video conference call with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is scheduled to take place.

The agenda of the meeting also includes the situation in Ethiopia and in particular that in the province of Tigray. Ministers are also expected to discuss Georgia, Myanmar, Iran and relations with India.
