The amount of money sent by Bulgarians abroad to their home country has decreased significantly. According to data of the Bulgarian National Bank, in the first two months of 2021 Bulgarians abroad sent only EUR 24.8 million to Bulgaria. In the same period last year, the money sent by Bulgarians abroad was 8 times higher and amounted to EUR 198.2 million.
