Bulgarian students in UK will no longer be eligible for student loans

Bulgarian students in the UK will no longer be eligible for student loans, announced the British Ambassador to Bulgaria Rob Dixon who took part in the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria’s event “Global Britain: UK Priorities in a Changing World”. Ambassador Dixon reminded that after Brexit, some British universities took action to reduce tuition fees for students from EU countries who will pay less than the British students. Rob Dixon added that students who went to study in the UK before Brexit keep their status under certain conditions. According to Ambassador Dixon, almost 60,000 Bulgarians study in the UK.
