11,246 first to seventh grade pupils studying in Bulgarian Sunday schools took the first online test in their native language. This year the external assessment is optional, but as of next year, it will be mandatory for first to ninth grade students. Children from 341 schools in 39 countries attended the exam.

According to the teachers, all students passed the exam successfully. Bulgaria’s Ministry of Education and Science prepared the tests to assess the progress of Sunday school students.
