In 2021, Bulgaria marks the 145th anniversary since the death of Bulgarian revolutionary Hristo Botev and the members of his detachment who gave their lives for the liberation of this country from the Ottoman Rule. The Days of Botev initiative, which will be held between May 27 and June 2, is dedicated to their heroic act.
This year’s edition of the initiative includes a hike, a cycling tour, commemorative ceremonies on Milin Kamak, Yolkovitsa and Okolchitsa peaks, outdoor events and concerts, as well as an official evening ceremony on the occasion of the Day of Vratsa marked on June 1, announced the Municipality of Vratsa.
