Due to the planned repair of the TurkStream gas pipeline at the end of June, gas deliveries along the route will be suspended for a week. This will lead to a shortage of gas in the region and higher prices, Bulgargaz CEO Nikolay Pavlov said.
Every effort shall be made to ensure supplies for this period. Negotiations are underway with Gazprom for deliveries using an alternative route through Ukraine and Romania. It was used successfully during the repairs of "TurkStream" back in 2020. "Bulgargaz" has been negotiating with other suppliers to provide the necessary quantities of gas at reasonable prices. Probably, these deliveries will affect the price of gas for June, Pavlov said.
