Within a few days, the vaccine of Pfizer/BioNtech against coronavirus will be available to children over 12 years of age, said for bTV Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev, director of the Centre for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases. According to him, the protective effect of the drug in them will be stronger because they have a better immune system.

According to the immunologist, not enough Bulgarians have been vaccinated against Covid-19 so far. He has called on other cities to follow the example of Sofia where open-air vaccination centres will work in parks this weekend.
Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev warned that the danger of the epidemic has not yet passed. The specialist also said that despite his appeal, not enough research is being done in Bulgaria to find new strains.
