Bulgaria is first EU country to apply decision under Magnitsky Act

"We are perhaps the first country in the EU that has started implementing a decision under the Magnitsky Act," Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Social Affairs Galab Donev has told BNR. According to him, so far there have been no indications for freezing of EU funds for Bulgaria. It became clear that the initial proposal for raising pensions by 5% on July 1 will not apply to everyone and the additional amount will be different for each pensioner.
