Accession to the Eurozone and the Schengen Area are priorities for Bulgaria

Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Svetlan Stoev presented this country’s foreign policy priorities to the Diplomatic Corps. Minister Stoev highlighted two main priorities for Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry- to organize the early Parliamentary elections abroad and address Bulgaria’s main foreign policy priorities- this country’s accession to the Eurozone and the Schengen Area, as well as the accession to the Organization for Economic Coopperation and Development. 

The European integration of the Western Balkan countries is also a key foreign policy priority , reported the press office of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
