The European Public Prosecutor's Office is not a foreign institution - it serves European citizens, European Chief Prosecutor Laura Koveshi said at a pressconference held at the House of Europe in Sofia. "We will investigate crimes affecting the EU budget if the damage exceeds EUR 10 million. The European Public Prosecutor's Office will also investigate VAT fraud and corruption. We will investigate independently and work to bring cases to national courts", said Laura Koveshi.
"Bulgarians can report information on the website of the European Parliament, if they think that it is important for us. They can contact us in Bulgarian or in other EU languages.
