According to the representatives of the construction sector, all construction activities have been suspended due to the negative campaign against the sector. They are also dissatiffied with the fact that contracts have not been implemented, all operational programs for energy efficiency, water supply and sewerage, environment, transport infrastructure and rural development have been blocked. "It geopardises billions of Euros allotted under EU funds. 250,000 jobs are also under threat", notes the Bulgarian Construction Chamber.
