Bulgaria wins gold at Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships

Bulgaria‘s Rhythmic Gymnastics Ensemble won the gold medal at the five balls final at the 2021 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Varna. Bulgaria came 2nd at the three hoops and 2 pairs of clubs final. Earlier, Bulgaria’s individual rhythmic gymnasts Boryana Kaleyn and Katrin Taseva failed to earn medals in the individual apparatus finals. 

On June 12, Boryana Kaleyn earned the silver medal in the all-around event. Katrin Taseva, who will end her active sports career after the Tokyo Summer Olympics, came 7th
